Zeke Fortenberry received his Bachelor of Architecture in honors studies from Texas Tech University. Mr. Fortenberry went on to earn his Master of Business Administration and Master of Architecture from Texas Tech University in 2004. He received his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, CA. While at Pepperdine, Mr. Fortenberry was president of the Student Bar Association. During law school, he competed on the Pepperdine Mock Trial team and won two national tournaments. In the fall of 2006, Mr. Fortenberry interned at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office. Mr. Fortenberry joined the Collin County District Attorney's office in February of 2008 as an assistant district attorney.

Lindsey Byers graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minor in Spanish. Ms. Byers received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2008. While in law school, Ms. Byers was a member of the Domestic Violence Clinic and took an active role in helping victims of domestic violence. Ms. Byers also interned for The University of Texas System and worked as a legal assistant for an attorney who represented victims of violent crimes in civil matters. Ms. Byers joined Collin County District Attorney's Office in September of 2008 as an assistant district attorney.

Investigator Joe Pell began his law enforcement career at the Bonham
Police Department in 1992. He attended the Texoma Regional Police
Academy and Grayson County Junior College. He was a patrol officer for
the city of Bonham and Denison. In the private sector, Mr. Pell worked
as a court-appointed investigator in the United States Federal Court
system. He possesses an advanced peace officer certification.
Investigator Pell joined the Collin County Criminal District Attorney's
Office as a criminal investigator in July 2006.
Sheryl Baxter came
to the District Attorney’s Office in December 2003. She serves
as receptionist/assistant in the Intake Division. Her past experience
with Collin County includes working in the Warrants Division of the
Sheriff’s Office and working part-time in the Collin County Temporary
Pool. She is married and has three children. The family resides in Garland.
