DA Greg Willis Announces 60-Year Sentence for Aryan Brotherhood Gang Member Who Repeatedly Raped 14-Year-Old Girl

April 16, 2025

(McKinney, Texas) – Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis announced today that Cody Wayne McCollom, 37, of Princeton, was sentenced to 60 years in prison after a jury convicted him of Sexual Assault of a Child. McCollom, a violent repeat offender and confirmed member of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, groomed, drugged, and repeatedly raped a 14-year-old girl across multiple Collin County cities.

Paroled Gang Member Preyed on 14-Year-Old Across Four Cities

Jurors heard that McCollom had previously served time for multiple aggravated robberies out of Bexar and Nueces Counties. After being paroled in spring 2022, he reconnected with the victim—who was just 14 years old—and began supplying her with illegal drugs. In January 2024, he began sexually assaulting her in Anna, Princeton, McKinney, and Melissa.

In June 2024, the child bravely disclosed the abuse to her mother, who immediately contacted McKinney Police. The victim later provided a detailed forensic interview at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County.

Coordinated Law Enforcement Investigation Locked Down the Case

Detectives Toni Wright and Jonathan Glidden of the McKinney Police Department, Tyler Bradford of Princeton Police Department, and Alexis Diaz of Anna Police Department worked across jurisdictions to investigate McCollom and secure the evidence needed to prosecute.

During the punishment phase, jurors learned that McCollom had joined the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas while in prison and remained an active gang member after his release. Due to his prior felony convictions, McCollom faced a punishment range of 25 years to life in prison. The jury sentenced him to 60 years, which must be served day-for-day without the possibility of parole.

DA Greg Willis: “This Predator Will Never Hurt Another Child”

“McCollom groomed and drugged a vulnerable 14-year-old, then raped her again and again across our county,” said Willis. “Thanks to the victim’s courage and the outstanding police collaboration across multiple cities, this violent gang member has finally been held accountable. He will never hurt another child again.”

Judge Tom Nowak presided over the case. Assistant Criminal District Attorneys Abbie Adkins and Charles Brazell prosecuted the case, with vital support from DA Investigator Kim Voigt Eanes, Victim Assistance Coordinator Melissa White, and Legal Secretary Christy Ware.
