The Collin County District Attorney’s Office welcomes you to apply for one of our highly rewarding legal internship positions. If you have ever wondered what it means to pursue justice and protect the community, please join us next session. During an unpaid internship or a paid post-barship with out office, you will be supervised by experienced Assistant District Attorneys and legal secretarial staff as we prepare and prosecute cases in the criminal justice system. You will also be given the opportunity to observe courtroom proceedings.
Divisions in the District Attorney’s Office where you may be assigned include Misdemeanor or Felony trial teams, Grand Jury, Civil, Family Justice, Domestic Violence Unit, Crimes Against Children, and Human Trafficking.
2026 Internships:
- Fall 2026 Post-Barship: August 10 – October 2
- Fall 2026 Legal Internship: August 25 – October 30
2027 Legal Internships:
- Spring: January 25 – May 1
- Summer Session 1: May 17 – June 25
- Summer Session 2: June 28 – August 6
- Fall: August 23 – November 19
2027 Post-Bar Internships:
- Spring: March 1 – Friday, April 23
- Fall: August 9 – Friday, October 1
